Water bottling projects

The RO unit is one part of a bottling project. Separate water treatment, treated-water storage, final disinfection and filling-line responsibilities. Provide the filling schedule and finished-water specification, then confirm interfaces with the line supplier. RO treatment alone is not a complete assurance of drinking-water compliance.

Questions worth settling early

  • Filling schedule and buffer storage
  • Finished-water specification
  • Sanitation and line-supplier interfaces

What to prepare

  • Feed-water source, analysis and temperature range
  • Required product flow and hours of operation
  • Product-water use and quality requirements
  • Electrical supply, footprint and reject-water route

Make the scope explicit

Ask the proposal to distinguish equipment supply, civil works, external piping, electrical connections, commissioning, training and consumables. Confirm each responsibility in the project quotation. Items discussed on this website are planning considerations, not an automatic inclusion in every supply package.

TDS alone does not describe scaling, fouling or the pretreatment required.
